The Northwest RC Speedway Offroad Track will be closed until further notice. The track has been left open to use at everyones discretion but someone decided to go out when it was wet and completely destroy the surface there is no more usable front stretch or infield.there is now at least 3 to 4 days of work and clean-up on the track surface, clay clean up on the drivers stand and stairs and pit lane, also pit lane was used as a drivers stand and bent

There are closed signs at the track and barriers across the track, drivers stand and pit lane now.

I will post as soon as it will be available to use.

This is a really sad deal, we try to keep things as open as possible and allow people to have a good time and enjoy the facilities. Everyone needs to understand that what we race on is a great clay surface but that comes with drawbacks. High levels of water in the track make it unusable and it doesnt just rebound it takes some warm weather. When the track is saturated it sticks to everything including shoes, and tires. We had heavy rains off and on last week and we had a nice day of weather in there somewhere, Saturday maybe. So for people to think the track would recover this early in the year after 1 day is a bit dissapointing. There is a large amount of effort by people to put this track in up and keep in great shape. If you have any information please let us know so that we may inform the people who decided to run this weekend that when the track is in that condition to please refrain from driving it.

We are putting a large NW race in May this year and need the track in great condition and this only puts us that much further behind our schedule. Please drivers use proper discretion when deciding wether or not the track is useable.
